Network latency and local device diagnostics

Effective 2026-09-13 · Application identifier com.altixcode.netpulse

The short version

NetPulse does not have accounts, does not ask who you are, and does not upload the files you work on. Latency, jitter, and packet-loss statistics, service discovery results, and diagnostic reports are computed and stored on your device. Nothing about your network is uploaded.

Information we collect

We do not collect personal information. NetPulse contains no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, and no crash-reporting service that transmits your content or identifiers. We cannot see what you open, edit, record, or export.

Device permissions

  • Local network To discover devices advertising services on the network you are connected to, and to measure how quickly they respond. Discovery is limited to your own network and no device inventory ever leaves your phone.

Every permission is requested at the moment it is needed, and declining one only disables the specific feature that requires it.

When the app uses the network

  • To measure connection quality, the app sends small requests to well-known public endpoints (for example Cloudflare and Google public DNS) and times the responses. These requests carry no personal data beyond the network request itself.
  • Purchases are processed by Apple or Google. To unlock your one-time purchase across reinstalls and devices, receipt validation is performed by RevenueCat, Inc. RevenueCat receives a randomly generated app user identifier, your store receipt, and your country. It does not receive your name, email address, or any file you open in the app.

Data retention

Files you create stay in the app’s private storage area on your device until you delete them or uninstall the app. Uninstalling removes them. Because we never receive your content, there is nothing for us to retain or delete on your behalf.

Children

NetPulse is not directed to children under 13, and because it collects no personal information, it does not knowingly collect information from children.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, UK GDPR, and CCPA you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data held about you. We hold no such data. For purchase records, contact Apple or Google, who are the merchants of record for your transaction.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the updated version will be published at this address with a new effective date before the change takes effect in a released version of the app.
